Deep gnome prayers
Deep gnome prayers
Who should we be sending our prayers to? Priests are coded as priests of Gond... There is no specific deity listed under the help file ICly or OOCly.
Re: Deep gnome prayers
Generally a deep gnome would venerate Calladuran Smoothhands.
Nylo, Fighter of Tempus
Anver, Transmuter of Garl
Malic, Cleric of Tyr
Luthir, Druid of Mielikki

Re: Deep gnome prayers
Yeah if you talk to the priests there you find that the Deep GNomes of Blingdenstone are pretty clearly worshippers of Callarduran, though codewise that's been set up as Gond for many reasons, so I guess you could pray to Gond but consider it going to Callarduran...
Re: Deep gnome prayers
Is it just the non-priest classes, that are placed in Garl's faith?

Re: Deep gnome prayers
No one is placed in Garl's faith unless they want to follow Garl, if you choose to follow Callarduran as a priest you will be autofaithed, if you're a layman you have to get someone to do it for you, but it would be Gond according to the code.
Re: Deep gnome prayers
That explains it then, if deep gnomes are allowed to follow Garl. I'd noticed several on Garl's faith list, and figured they were just placed there while ICly following Calladuran.

Re: Deep gnome prayers
Pray gods. You don't have to choose one. Then you direct it to your uncoded god.
Beshaba potatoes.

Re: Deep gnome prayers
Just in case anyone newish is trying the deep gnome thing, or a non-coded deity more generally:Mele wrote:Pray gods. You don't have to choose one. Then you direct it to your uncoded god.
PRAY GODS <Your message here>
rather than
PRAY <Specific god> <Your message here>
Then your message will be seen by anyone able to act on behalf of all deities, including the uncoded.
