Westgate fighters guild Healer

Meredrith, the acolyte of Loviatar, offers her services here.
I was just wandering through the guild when I noticed this, wouldn't offering healing prayers be counter productive to loviatars faith?

Nah. You can't suffer pain, if you're dead. But if you've been beat up once, you're liable to be beat up again!

I see divine magic as working different for the different deities who cast them. If an Ilmateri priest is healing you, it's a soothing, warm feeling as your flesh is repaired. If it is a Lovite, you feel the burning, wretched agony of your flesh knitting itself together. The magic is given to the priests to serve their gods after all.
Just my two cents. :)

Lovites are not masochists. They deal out pain, and in dogma they thrive on emotional pain. It's logical.

Loviatar is anti-scars, and preaches kindness and allure are the best accompaniment to pain.

Like the post office, only better dressed. :D
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Spelling is not necessarily correct :)
