Power attack and dual wield

It seems that the offhand weapon, when using power attack, takes the to-hit penalty, but does not gain the damage bonus?

Is your offhand a light weapon? I was just testing with my own and noticed with a light weapon in my offhand it happens, but with a normal it does not. (At least I -think- not)

Yeah, my off hand is a short sword, considered a light weapon. I just saw in SRD that it says the penalty applies, even though the bonus does not! Should have checked that, thanks. =)
