Luskan Coming Soon!

Post by Kielar » Thu Aug 23, 2012 11:56 pm

Can we get a sign like the one for Baldur's Gate? I wandered the area for a bit before asking help from the volunteers. Its something new players won't know.

One reason I mention it, is I am re reading The Spine of the World, where Wulfgar and Morrik get blamed for the good Captain Dudermont's poisoning. I was looking forward to wandering the places they haunted.

The difference is that Baldur's Gate is actually in progress and Luskan is not. There are many cities which are not included in the game, but they should be relatively obvious by having a spot on the map without an exit attached to it. A few of the major cities have place holders there (a small area consisting of a handful of rooms which depict areas outside the gates or something like that), but if not then they are just not in the game.

I was looking for a way to indicate to the new players that the city isn't implemented yet, such as a sign saying as much.

I do not believe that is necessary. I would rather that we continue to put little place holders up in those spots (e.g. Selgaunt) to provide some kind of IC situation.
