Introduction (did I spell that right)

Post by Philias » Mon Sep 03, 2012 10:22 am

Greetings fellow forgotten kingdoms players, some of you might have already met Philias the merry halfling in waterdeep.
I'm quite new to this game, altough I have played few D&D games before, and have a little experienca about MUDs from Aardwolf.
I live in finland, so mostly I have to play at night to actually meet other players. That really makes playing FK a bit annoying. I've had some great moments in this games, and will definetly keep on playing.
If you ever want to meet Philias, look for him at either the dripping dagger, or market square, he will surely have s story to tell you :D
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that once you notice that it tells you absolutely nothing, it's already too late to stop reading it :D

Heh, glad you like him :D I've been planning about making a goblin char somewhere in the future. Could you ppl tell me what makes them so hard to roleplay, 'cause I love goblins and would like to play one.

also, epic:
Philias tries to climb to his keg of ale
Philias falls
Philias asks: not so easy, see?

Welcome to FK!

Goblins are hard because they are outsiders. No one really wants to be their friend, and they don't really trust anyone.

Their existence is essentially lonesome. People want to kill them all the time. They cannot enter cities, they belong no where.

I'll be truthful and admit the few goblin PC's we've had have not made it for these reasons. Maybe you can be the one to show us a flourishing goblin pc! :)

Well, in best case I would create a tribe of goblins that rebels against all orcs
Just need to play Philias a lot more to get that kismet, not that I'm going to abandon our drunk and talkative friend. Just wish I could find someone worshipping mystra to become a follower of the good ol' lady luck.

*grins*

Cheers from the dwarf who finds it hards to speak Common and who likes ale and adventuring.

I must say that has been the most fun I've had in half-year of playing FK. :D

/On the topic of kismet: 5 more kismet and I can play a drow at long last!!!/

EDIT: I play at similar hours to you, it seems.

Oh, that dwarf again. Oh, doesnt speak common yet, I'll take him to a trainer. Hmm, doesn't help. Hey, its one of my friends, he can surely help.
You can't quess how many times I facepalmed :D

About kismet:
I've seen ppl saying that kismetcosts are too high, I don't think so. Played for about week now, and already got 78 kismet

Welcome to FK and don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it (IC or OOC - we're here for both of them). Very pleased to see a large amount of new players joining the team here, and we're very happy to have you all. :) Welcome.

It makes me happy to. As a transplant myself, I'd love to see this mud made easier to find for my fellow transplantees.
