Unignitable wood

Post by Tarven » Sun Sep 23, 2012 9:00 pm

It is light wooden shield.
It is just the right size for you to wear.
It can be picked up, held.
It cannot be worn with any other armour.
It is small in size and would fit a humanoid.
It is made of ebony and weighs about 3 pounds.

That is not flamable.

What object is that?

Most ebony is not flammable in the game. You can feed it to a fire but when you try to ignite a piece it does not work.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Spelling is not necessarily correct :)

It's possible that someone attempted to implement ebony's natural slow-burning density in the game and that's how it resulted. This is something for Mask to look at on a rainy day.

You drop a large ebony crate.
ignite crate
That is not flamable.
oinvoke 30
cook crate

A large ebony crate burns well and feeds the fire.

Was actually thinking exactly this. Ebony is incredibly dense, heavy and strong. Even its saw-dust doesn't take to fire as well as you'd expect.
