The Elven cold iron longsword is made of iron and not cold iron. Its not a major issue, because its an older reward item, but the newer cold iron items are made of cold iron, this item predates that material being included in the game.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.
