While casting locate object on one of my alts (Trathas), my search was for "c 'locate object' amulet with"... The results were mostly normal - some from the Corpse Conservatory, some from the Luggage Storage.. But at the tail end of it, I saw a few things that looked familiar...
a dark bronze amulet trimmed with darksteel in somewhere.
a purple gold amulet embossed with seven silver stars in somewhere.
a blue silver amulet trimmed with brushed platinum in somewhere.
an azure silver amulet trimmed with darksteel in somewhere.
Now, I recognized all of these items as belonging to one of my other ALTs (Nerian)... Except some of them were on the character, some were on his horses, some were on a horse stabled at the time (and was not online, so don't understand why it was searching for items that were not loaded in-game)?
This is, kind of odd to me? Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Re: Locate Object - Wonkiness?
My guess is that the location was invisible to you because of something mundane (a hidden NPC carrying it or perhaps it was dark at the objects' locations). I have not had this issue.

Re: Locate Object - Wonkiness?
I did at one point have locate object show items that one of my ALTs had on his person, showing up as if the char was online but not greeted.

Re: Locate Object - Wonkiness?
I have seen that happen if the other player very recently logged off (in the last minute or two), but not otherwise.

Its been a strange occurrence for a number of years. It comes and it goes, I'd say its unfixable.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.
