Hi,
When fighting multiple mobs (one PC) I frequently notice something like this:
With a bonecrunching sound a goblin warrior's crush deftly smashes your abdomen.
You evade a goblin warrior's crushing attack.
You attack a goblin warrior as he gets within your weapon's reach.
You score a critical hit!
Your slash nearly bisects a goblin warrior's left arm.
A goblin warrior is DEAD!
You hear a goblin warrior's death cry.
You get a gold coin from the corpse of a goblin warrior.
You get 3 silver coins from the corpse of a goblin warrior.
You get 7 copper coins from the corpse of a goblin warrior.
With a bonecrunching sound a goblin warrior's crush deftly smashes your right leg.
You grunt as a goblin warrior's kick lands.
A goblin warrior ducks under your slashing attack.
A goblin warrior ducks under your slashing attack.
The mob got two attack rounds (clearly visible with a delay in the middle) while I didn't even attempt to hit it.

Here's my take on this situation:
- ((Round 1))
Mob1 attacks PC first.
PC attacks Mob1, killing it.
Mob2 attacks PC last.
((Round 2))
Mob2 attacks PC first.
And so on.
I've seen it a few times myself and can't think of any reason to assume otherwise is occurring. Moving this to resolved for now, in case somebody wants to contribute to the contrary.
What are you talking about? What, that guy?
That was like that when I got here.

Actually, this is another case of a bug with many faces that just hasn't proven worth fixing. Attack echoes come out of sequence - it can happen with just one foe. It's just not a priority because everyone gets the right attacks, the echoes just get out of order.

Could also be related to the bug/'feature' that causes spells which are half-cast to immediately cancel after your target dies. Both harmful spells against the enemy and helpful spells on an ally are affected by this, and I'd be unsurprised if it extended to other actions, ie. attacking.
