The Weapon of Energy spell doesn't seem to do anything.

Am I missing something? I tried hitting some things with it and didn't get any different damage echoes either. Is this just because the flags haven't been implemented yet?

I don't think that element flags are currently working. I've only seen them on one weapon as of late.

I'm not sure of the reason, but this spell has no effects set up at all...in short, exactly as you said, it does nothing right now!

Before I went AWOL we were in the midst of updating element damage applies, so it is possible it was intentionally removed.

Is there another spell that applies elemental damage to a weapon I could compare against? (Flame blade invokes a blade, I need one that would apply something to an object, like continual light does and weapon of energy should.)

Magic Weapon?

It looks like Magic Weapon applies a to-hit and damage bonus (to a weapon not already having such), and those do work. It is my understanding that elemental damage applies are currently being worked on and adjusted, and won't be working for a while yet. Thanks for reporting this, but it can't be fixed until the larger issue of energy damage applies is resolved.
