It is time to update the world map. We need to add some places and we need to differentiate between towns in the Realms and towns in the Kingdoms (so to speak) because they do not always match up just right. Drop me a PM if you are interested in helping out.Friends,
I am not the adventurer that I once was. Years of ale, idling, and that coot Elminster's meddling has left me a shade of my former glories. Still, the Realms must be put to paper for posterity. If I am not to do it then who will? You can find me around the City of Splendors for now if you want to help.

Rasheed yn Khalid of Calimshan is willing to pay handsomely for a map of Westgate.
Re: Maps of the Realms
Djibrill's map was the winner of my first competition and he received a healthy purse for his efforts. The new map will be posted shortly at:

Re: Maps of the Realms
OOC: Post is probably best by PM. This absolutely does not need to be from scratch; I would copy the source from the latest map and begin there. Anyone is game, but you will have a hard time beating out Djibrill for speed and detail! To be clear, the speed is just in tossing your name in the hat. Once five people volunteer I will wait to judge the maps for quality until I receive five (or am reasonably assured that I have all which I will receive); you will have time to roleplay the map-making out IC if you want.Friends and customers,
I am well and soundly reminded by the most gracious sage that my first project has improved the detail of only the western parts of Faerun. The Vast is addressed, but nothing farther than that. The Sage, content in the Dales, is not offended, but my chances of making it out alive when next I pass through the Bloodstone Lands of Damara or the wild land of Rashemen is diminished.
I will take the first five applications by post for the opportunity to compete for another purse. The task now is to map the entire Kingdoms, west to east.
