Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Studio Ghibli(Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, etc. etc.) and Level-5 have developed a game that is getting hugely positive reviews. It released yesterday for North America and I'm curious whether or not any of you have picked it up yet? You enjoying it? I'm stuck working long hours this week so I haven't had the chance yet but I'm excited to pick it up for my days off. I would love to hear what you guys think of it. :)

The fan blew out on our PS3. Only system we're lacking, only system it's out on so far. Booo.

I chose XBox360 over PS3 when I finally made my decision. A huge deciding factor was the list of RPGs available at the time between the two. At that time, XBox had a sizeable lead, so I chose it.

I bought this last night after hunting for a couple hours after my shift. Last store was closing as I walked in and it had one copy left. Apparently it doesn't last on any shelves anywhere. I still haven't played it but it's calling to me... I'll let you know how it goes. :)

Have you heard of it releasing for anything more than the PS3 and the NDS?

Our PS3 is backwards compatible so we'd like to manually replace the fan instead of just going out to purchase another (as they're no longer backwards compatible) making it a 'project' making it something that will probably hang there for who knows how long, lol.

Only those two. I'm not sure they're the same game even. The NDS plays with stylus movement patterns to cat certain spells or something... really not sure.

I'll probably hold out until that comes then - I have a 3DS XL that's like a child to me. >.>

So! Enjoyed the game but it's aimed more at the casual gamer type. It reaaaallllly holds your hand. It IS however really fun and a good story. It plays a bit like a more advanced Pokemon game at times.
