We couldn't get away with it :) Nor would I really want to have that happen.

Annnnnyway, I'm doing just fine without paying. I don't have everything that looks fancy. Wizard gear looks like shit anyway, but I can get to high level stuff by going through dungeons. I use a regular horse, and see the fancy dye packs, companions as just other objects available to those who can afford them. Some people are paying $20 for a companion now that you spend time making the coin for, and some of those companions don't do anything better than something you can buy for a couple gold that you make. As for gear, people buy astral diamonds, and zen, but others just go through epic dungeons to get it, or do trades. I don't see it as pay to win because everyone eventually has the access for it. You do see some snobby elite people like you get in every game that shun others for having regular stuff, but you also have the regular joes just playing to play, not be the best. Overall, the experience is fun, the story lines are great, and I look forward to seeing what they put out next.

I agree with Tye, if anything its Pay2Win faster. You dont need to pay a dime and you still have access to all the content. Paying just makes it quicker.

Im on the Beholder Realm, rocking my cleric. I've been listening to every single bit of story, and exploring everything possible, because I knew that lvl 60 waiting game would happen, especially so early into open beta still. Im coming up on 50! If anyone wants to hook up, let me know!

So apparently Dragon is where all my old WoW buddies are experimenting, and I think our distant friend Aran, too. I'm finishing up the download tonight to take a look, and crossing my fingers for Cahir's name to be available. XD

Bump. Second Extension Module "Shadowmantle" is out. New Class: Rangers (Yeah, every group now will be made of rangers ... But they're neat, admittedly). Also, Graphic has been improved and the layout of dungeons and mobs, new ways of enchants etc.. A new area and campaign there, too. The theme seems to be opposing Thayan evilness in the Dread Ring Campaign, for all those that got bored by the Sharrandar Campaign ;)

After a third Module called "Curse of Icewind Dale", today the fourth Module "Tyranny of Dragons" is launched. Lets all have a look at this nice fancy cinematic and think that Tiamat really looks cool here ;) https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=679280565481983.
