I don't think this is a typo: either spelling (whisky or whiskey) is generally acceptable.
While some people use "whisky" for Scotch whisky and "whiskey" for Irish whiskey, I don't think made-up drinks from a fantasy setting can exactly be categorised as either of those.

Whisky is always Scotch, whiskey is always Irish. I say we leave it as it is, of course
