Currently the forum CSS sets line-height: 14px (line 1175), which results in posts looking very cramped:

Right, I think I found the spot and made the change! We'll see...thanks for the suggestion! I was noticing it myself...hopefully it wasn't done with a purpose in mind, but if so it can pretty easily be put back.
