Sparring Partners below the Temple Of Mask in Westgate

Post by Sithiel » Thu Aug 22, 2013 1:04 pm

Ok so I was inside the Temple of Mask, in Westgate.

A sparring rogue balances a dagger with an arrogant smirk.
A sparring partner asks you 'Ya wanna have a spar wit' me?'
A sparring partner says to you 'I bet ya two silver I can take ya.'
A sparring partner says to you 'put your coins down, and tell me'
A sparring partner says to you 'when yer READY.'
You are carrying:
a gold coin (superb)
a electrum coin (superb)
24 copper coins (superb)
2 silver coins (superb)
You drop 2 silver coins.
You say 'ready'
A sparring partner gets some money.
A sparring partner exclaims to you 'Alright then, let's do this!'

Then we fight....

Your punch powerfully beats a sparring partner's chest.
a sparring partner has suffered mortal injury.
A sparring partner's crush deftly crushes your abdomen.
A sparring partner exclaims to you 'Ya did good!'
A sparring partner says to you 'Ya won the bet.'
A sparring partner exclaims 'Now I need ta go fix my leathers!'
A sparring partner heads down the hall.
You are carrying:
a gold coin (superb)
a electrum coin (superb)
24 copper coins (superb)

I am not sure if this is a bug, and it certainly is not a big thing...but should he not give me the wager back after the fight. Of course follower of Mask it might be IC for the fella to just leave with the money. Thought I'd point this out anyway

I retooled all of the sparring partners down there to be: more effective in combat, but still appropriate for their level ranges and actually paying out. Pending copyover.
