Dwarves in need of some loving.

Post by Gorwin » Fri Oct 18, 2013 2:05 am

Hi. Please do not take this as a criticism, but to me it seems ridiculous that traditional dwarven weapons feats are not able to be trained at any of the dwarven locales in our game. After all king Bruenor is probally the best axe wielder alive. As is no one seems to know where to even find a trainer for long axe weapon specialization or greater specialization, I am not sure about it but i am fairly certain that was the case with long spikes as well. I only know of one area in game that has all of them availiable. And being as it is a starting area there is no reason they should not be available in mithril hall. To think a dwarf would go to a human or elf to learn to use an axe is just insulting really. And being as I might have missed something somewhere after searching every city i can get too please feel free to ignore this suggestion.

Agreed. These feats in particular are ones that are only available to a limited selection of evil-aligned characters, to my knowledge. While it would be great to have them available to all, I feel they should definitely be available in Mithril Hall.

Absolutely agreed. Dwarves are supposed to be the best axe wielders in the land. I mean, it's bad enough that we don't get the dwarven waraxe :)

I certainly think this is not the only place and race that needs trainers added, but I'll add my name to the agreed list.

Was someone not trying to update Mithril Hall? Perhaps the project needs another nudge. However some of this stuff is definitely already out there for everyone.

No idea cas if anyone is working on it. I have heard there had been plans but not sure what ever became of them.
