When you are in a group and someone searches and finds something it becomes visible to everyone in the party. If you find something through [skill] Discern, or [spell] True Sight (I'm not sure about spot) it's not automatically reported to the party. Things like crystal formations, you can even mine while the rest of your group looks on unable to see it. That's just strange, if you are hitting it with a pickaxe, I think you've drawn enough attention to it that everyone in the room knows its there.
The only way to show them to the party is to keep spamming search for the thing you've already found through another means. For priests, there's a lot of armor failure involved in a search, and it gets spammy.
Now I don't think it should automatically announce everything hidden you find through spells or Discern, that would be kinda silly, but there should be a way to direct the rest of your party's attention to the object other than searching repeatedly for something you already found.
I suggest a "reveal" command that can be used to draw attention to things found through Discern and maybe Truesight type spells? Sometimes the person who finds things is not the best one to actually use, activate, or operate the things found.
The action would read something like this:
reveal crate
Liandria draws everyone's attention to a crate with a false side, revealing its presence!
Edit: Maybe this could even work on any item the character can see, so they can draw attention to other things that are visible but need attention being drawn to them for RP purposes.

Re: [action] reveal "thing"
I think this is a really nice idea. Kind of silly for someone to be fussing around with an item or a hidden character and the other people in the room still not be able to see it. An example...
Bob says to someone "Hello there!"
Bob types Reveal Jim
Echo...Bob's actions draws everyone's attention to Jim.
I am all for this!

Re: [action] reveal "thing"
I am not sure I like this entirely as an auto-success, perhaps it should just give everyone a large bonus to search and spot checks, making it easier to notice? Some people will just not be very perceptive.
"Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore!" "'Tis as impossible that he's undrowned as he that sleeps here swims." "I'm begging you please wake me up, In all my dreams I...."
Re: [action] reveal "thing"
The idea is that you're pointing it out to them, no? If you're leading a party through a hidden door, wouldn't it be pretty clear where it is when you open it? Going over to talk to a person hiding in a corner, etc. Anyone rping imperceptive enough to avoid that, can surely rp as still not seeing them?

Re: [action] reveal "thing"
Correct Nylo, someone in your group would have to have detected this hidden thing in the first place through a spell or skill use. Then this lets them point it out to the others in the group IF they want them to be aware of it.
There's times where a player who can see something might not want it revealed, such as if he's teaching a newbie how to find something, or someone who just spotted his buddy sneaking past the group. This gives them the option to choose that route too.
It's less automatic than if you performed a successful search and found something hidden, which DOES auto announce to everyone in the group that so and so found a hidden thing.
