Power attack not work?
Power attack not work?
Does the power attack feat not work? When I turn it on, I get no penalty to hit. However, when I have ranged combat turned on, I get my attack bonus due to strength, but lose it when I turn ranged off.

I don't see anything amiss. On the testport, I see
COMBATMODE +power attack
have the expected results with melee weapons and with ranged weapons melee aspect when
COMBATMODE +ranged
is set. When
COMBATMODE -ranged
is set and SCORE shows the ranged aspect of a ranged weapon,
COMBATMODE +power attack
does nothing, but this is as it should be: power attack only applies to melee attacks.
If you are seeing otherwise, or I'm misunderstanding the problem, please reply with more specific information about the weapon you are using, what you expect to be seeing, and what you actually see.

Alright, I'll post it in the applications forum. It's on a different character and all that.

Looks like it was the weapon. I was still using one of the starting weapons. When I switched to another the penalty applies.
