Code: Select all
Creature Price
1) a grey griffon 2100pp
2) a brown griffon 1900pp
3) a white griffon 2100pp
4) a golden griffon 1900pp
2) a large horse 45pp, 3gp, 1ep, 6cp
I know the quality of certain mounts have gone up, but the prices may have risen too high. For the cost of a griffon for example, you could buy several rmi full suits of magic armour...I'd suggest bringing the prices down.

These prices reflected the SRD price adjusted up according to the level of the mount. Mask has changed this now to adjust down (i.e. the SRD price is the cap, not the base); they will still be more expensive, but far less expensive than these prices.

Not resolved.
he stable is larger than an average stable. The stalls much larger each with
a horizontal pole for the griffons to "roost" on if they so wish. The tack
that hangs from hooks on the walls is larger than average and made especially
for griffons.
The griffon stable master tends to his griffons here.
Creature Price
1) a grey griffon 646pp
2) a brown griffon 646pp
3) a white griffon 680pp
4) a golden griffon 680pp
The griffon stable master says, 'I can train:
this is with a character with a 17 cha so um something wonky. 640 platinum is a kings fortune.

And a bargain according to SRD. The idea is that a higher price will make them more prized and open up a few other ideas (eggs, for example), removing the limitation of quest-driven purchasing.

I like the idea of a higher price. 650 platinum isn't difficult to get with RMI and other, much larger sources of income that can be had throughout the kingdoms.

This price is more manageable and fairer in my opinion. If man has to sell a few stock rewards and treasures to buy a hearty beast capable of flight and battle then its reasonable. The prices I reported were on par with dwellings so I'm satisfied with the this change, thank you.

Creature Price
1) an ebony griffon with green pinions 816pp
2) an ebony griffon with purple pinions 850pp
3) an ebony griffon with red pinions 884pp
Some are a bit higher. If a flying mount is between 600-900 platinum, might I suggest we boost the limit of possible savings a character can store in the bank? At the moment, a character can save 1,999 platinum in the bank. Any excess must be stored on the character or mounts (influencing movement/stamina etc due to weight). Between 600 and 900 platinum for a mount, that is 30% to nearly 50% of a character's life savings. Adjusting the bank accounts to accommodate more funds might help ease this new adjustment in cost as people work towards saving up for things like mounts, armour, and training - all of which can be expensive.

I agree with Kinni, I would like to see bank limits raised.
