Animal Empathy

Post by Tami » Sun Mar 30, 2014 5:53 pm

The help file is a bit vague, but I have a question about Animal Empathy... I tried it on a Wolf, wolf cub in Howling Peaks and a bear in Ardeep. It wouldn't let me claim any of them. I claimed a Rabbit in Ardeep. I'm a level 11 Ranger with animal Empathy at Inept. Could you help me figure out, why it wouldn't let me claim those other animals?

Most likely it is one of two things: your skill level in the ability or your character level.

There are several animals that you simply cannot claim. Most of them are higher level, so having two of those animals would be an insane dip in the game balance.

I believe it may also have to do with coding of said animal mob. I think that some of the animals have not had the special flag that enables one to use the skill. Don't worry though, there are some pretty neat ones out there that are just waiting to be found! :)
