We're running a very tight battle for 3rd place in the rankings on TMC and could use all the votes we can muster to put some distance between us and the other mud.

Last couple of days our voting numbers have fallen off quite steeply. Keep up with your votes every day it takes less than a minute and is a great way to keep drawing in new players to the mud.

Indeed! Some of you may have noticed, that for older players, the "economy" has been a little weird. Lots of coins floating around, maybe a little inflation?
Well the best thing to fix that is new players. New players bring in ideas, RP, balance, and flavor of every kind! They're like an oil change in an old jeep!

Just a reminder to everyone, voting really helps our wonderful home grow in players and ideas! Each and every vote on each and every day really makes a difference as placings in the top ten are always very close in vote numbers. Thank you to everyone who remembers to vote and who works hard to keep this place growing. Another big thank you to those who strive to uphold strong roleplay to teach our newcomers the excellent roleplay skills that the veterans have gained through years of play! What a long thread!
You might want to consider adding a link to vote for FK on www.topmudsites.com as well. I know at least a few of my fellow mudders use that site to browse when they get a hankering to try something new. It's dominated by those ridiculous pay-for-perks/to-play muds, but it shouldn't be too hard for FK to find itself in the top 20 or top 10.

It's in the queue on the website testbed, just hasn't been brought over to the live site. I vote there once daily, and it's enough to keep us at about 75th. If a second person did the same, I'm guessing we'd be up at about 50.Panaver wrote:What a long thread!

I'm an every day voter too. And my wife votes at least once a week. If we could get even a few more daily voters...we might be able to keep 3rd solid...next stop after that: The world!
