What good animes you've watched recently?

Post by Blarc » Fri Aug 09, 2013 3:59 pm

As the topic is saying, I'd like people to post up some good animes here that you've watched. Got this idea mainly 'cause the one I was watching just ended and now need something new.
So, here are few good ones:
Attack on titan, Death note, Fairy tail, Valkyria chronicles

Each one of those has already ended, except for the Attack on titan, which's eighteenth part I'm waiting eagerly.

So, what are your favourites, or ones you have recently watched?

Not sure if you have heard of him, but just about all of the anime that Hayao Miyazaki has directed is pure gold.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is an especially good one.

I've reported your post.

For myself, I've only watched Neon Genesis Evangelion in the past few years. Still my favorite.

In terms of movies, I've recently seen both Vampire Hunter D films, Paprika, and the Rebuild of Evangelion movies. That means, during the past year. Don't watch too many movies, so that's in the sphere of recent for me.

Recently - I watched and loved Sword Art Online while it was casting. Oremio came out with season 2! The World Only God Knows has a new season going on right now! I'm really enjoying Watamote and Silver Spoon. Absolutely LOVED Another when it came out holycrapgood. Henneko is great. The Pet Girl of Sakaruso was amazing too, it finished a few months back. The Severing Crime Edge was fantastic too, that just finished! This is where I stop because I could just keep going like a crazy person.

Ahem, with an infant it's hard to do much than watch things and we have a crunchy roll subscription. :)

If you liked Death Note ( I loved Death Note before the US got their paws on it, thanks to Tandria's player.) watch Another and The Severing Crime Edge!

Fairy Tail is amazing, too! My husband is watching Attack on Titan but I can't get into it myself.

I hear Black Lagoon is nice too. Very violent though.

Resurrecting an old thread to say that if you're not watching Space Dandy yet, you're missing out.

Aku no Hana was a really interesting and weird one--really intense with a cool, rotoscoped art style. And Free! is pretty great, too.

Golden Time, Magi, and Log Horizon are the picks of what I've seen recently. All available on Crunchyroll too.

I am currently at Sakuracon this weekend and they showed a few episodes of Magi. I'm looking forward to getting it when I have money again. :D
