Morning jog

Post by Tandria » Wed May 28, 2014 7:40 pm

Hello dears,

Mornmistress Jezzie RedFeather would like to invite all faithful of Lathander, those who appreciate his lessons, and those interested in joining up to the faith, on a morning jog through the Cliffs of Dawn in High Forest. We'll meet together, have a prayer, then go for a jog. The jog will precede a picnic, which you are all welcome to contribute to in whatever way you'd like. Food or drink contributions of any kind would be preferred.

I'm sure this is common sense, but please don't wear armour--it clinks around in the most horrendous fashion as you run. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a waterskin to keep yourself refreshed!

Hope to see you all there!

Mornmistress Jezzie

((OOC: The event will take place at this time: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/f ... =1129&ah=2

While I hope the time will be morning in-game, I think we can all allow a little bit of suspension of disbelief if it's too far away in-game during the proposed time!))

That's a little too late for me to attend. Lathander wants me to spend time with my family.

How much earlier would you be able to come? I originally made it at that time because I thought I might work that evening, but it turns out I won't be working. So far no one else has replied, so I'll try to accommodate you a bit!

I generally log off for the day about 2 hours before the scheduled time. So... if it was 3 or 4 hours earlier, it would be all good. If that wouldn't work out, I understand.

All right, pushed it three hours earlier! :) Original link is now updated to reflect this.

Reminder to all that this is this coming Friday! I'd love to see a good turnout! You don't have to follow Lathander--just enjoy jogging and picnics!

Doing another last-minute time change.

Some serious stuff has happened in my hometown in the last two days and they're going to be holding a candlelight vigil, so I'd like to go and honour the fallen. So, this will be pushed ahead one more hour. Should mean you can go, I hope, Anguin :)

So this event is just 3 hours away! Hope to see some of you there.

Because this was important to the jog.

Agreed.

Thanks everyone for coming! That was a great turnout. I hope a fun time was had by all!

I hope to do these semi-regularly, so if you missed it this time around, the next one will likely be just around the corner!
