Is there any resource we might use to choose our race enemy in game? I know some of the various races, but was unsure what is and isn't available to better choose since it's a one shot and permanent.(I posted a list of the various subtypes below. Perhaps someone can tell us what is and isn't available.)
Aberration
Humanoid (reptilian)
Animal
Magical beast
Construct
Monstrous Humanoid
Dragon
Ooze
Elemental
Outsider (air)
Fey
Outsider (chaotic)
Giant
Outsider (earth)
Humanoid (aquatic)
Outsider (evil)
Humanoid (dwarf)
Outsider (fire)
Humanoid (elf)
Outsider (good)
Humanoid (goblinoid)
Outsider (lawful)
Humanoid (gnoll)
Outsider (native)
Humanoid (gnome)
Outsider (water)
Humanoid (halfling)
Plant
Humanoid (human)
Undead
Humanoid (orc)
Vermin
I also had another thought that could be handy. Since we don't get the multiple race enemies at up to 5 per d20 rules. Perhaps we could choose to change it once every 24 or 48 real life hours?

Very good suggestions. +1

The reset would be awesome, as it would simulate the ranger studying a specific foe in order to initiate operations against them more efficiently. Does anyone know why the decision was made to limit this to a single foe only? Perhaps a code issue?

The games been around for quite awhile Baeus. It's been getting updates since I was around 14-15 years old and I'm 31 now lol! But yea it's a code issue I believe.

I'm not disagreeing with the idea in any means but my pov:
Builders lessons list the races - from there I think trial and error isn't horrible. This isn't a choice made for code but for your rp so you shouldn't be gunning for the coolest strongest looking races that would likely not make the cut anyhow! :-)
Beshaba potatoes.

Too true! I try to choose something that fits inline with the characters rp. I was mostly voicing it for newer players! <3
