The Adventurer's Guild Post!
Re: The Adventurer's Guild Post!
Posts are removed when completed or their number of shipments are fulfilled. If you see one up there, chances are you can still submit to complete it yourself (or with a group, as intended for most )
"He served, but found no pride in service. He fought, but took no joy in victory. He drank, to drown his pain in a sea of wine... ...It was hate that drove him. Though he committed many sins, he never sought forgiveness."
Re: The Adventurer's Guild Post!
If I post it here - that generally means I've removed it.
Anything on the in game board you can do until it is removed from the in game board. :)

Look forward to tasks appearing on the board at a staggered pace this week!

Re: The Adventurer's Guild Post!
Woohoo! Can't wait to see what comes up. I've been hoping for this sort of thing to show up again for some time!
Re: The Adventurer's Guild Post!
Several jobs have been opened in mirror to the excellent work done by this guild to the denizens of the Underdark.
A goblin, a trickster, a warrior? A nameless terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. A most feared being in all the cosmos. Nothing could stop, hold, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Re: The Adventurer's Guild Post!
I got a question. Are these posted in the in-game message boards or just here? Also, is there anything else going on? Terageld is not experienced enough for the Underdark quest, and the Necromancer's Guild quest goes against his alignment.

Nope, ignore my last, please! I just read the beginning of the thread.

Re: The Adventurer's Guild Post!
So, I know this has been run via staff mostly it seems but I'm curious if there's a way to open this up for other PCs to post their own quests for other players to complete. I know Ungtar had said something about him trying to have lowbies go on an adventure he'd crafted purely in game (As in without having to build the area first, just used what was there already) but it got roflstomped by a high level character so the lowbies could waltz through.
Perhaps if older PCs are able to do this sort of thing using the rules established for the guild board it might help stir RP at times. A quick reward to the petitioner and of course a reward to the questee(s) provided by the petitioner.

Awesome Mele, thanks!

Big task has been done good and evil and rewarded.
Got a spell circulated that wasn't out there well enough! :)

Thanks for the event Mele! We all know Blackstaff hates us, but at least we know he gives good presents!

Re: The Adventurer's Guild Post!
Just for the sake of clarity is there some particular way one "accepts" these jobs, or is it as simple as looking at the board and then mailing out a box with the required items and/or information to the client?

Re: The Adventurer's Guild Post!
The latter, you send the items to the client's first name in a mailbox or the info in a letter for as long as the post is up.
I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!

Hello!
I am home. This is running again.
Have fun!

Man, five years. Time goes by so fast. I still love to see these quests!
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.
