Talona's power is great, a fact that those who reside within the larger cities know all too well. Day in and day out, the people of these cities live under the constant threat of contracting gruesome diseases and poisons such as: dysentery, ergotism (poisoning from fungal infection of grains), leprosy, and the plauge. Even the rich, who hide within their mansions, are not safe from Her wrath. So I invite all to join me in a day of reverence to be held in the Waterdeep Market to pay homage to the Mistress of Disease. Bring monetary offerings, items to be sacrificed, and acknowledge her power and perhaps she may spare you from the diseases of the city. All who bring offerings may ask for a free tattoo or ritual scaring of their choice. Curatives and... other items will be sold at this event. To showcase the power of the Mistress of Disease, a select few will be chosen to be cured of their crippling diseases.
