So. That being said, I grabbed the rest of my stuff that dropped, put it on, and left the <redacted> with a sour taste in my mouth. The change I would like to request is that there be a way to reclaim your belongings. Perhaps a clue that "something" in the <redacted> has acquired it. If that is absolutely out of the question, then perhaps a warning sign in the room.
My biggest issue with this is that yes, I understand the <redacted> is well known for weird stuff, but things like this just ruin gameplay for individuals. Especially people who have no idea about the place! It leaves a bitter taste in an explorer's mouth, and has left me dumbfounded on what to do next. Quite literally hundreds of platinum worth of components, quest-given magical gear, and an assortment of quest items I once had, are now gone; presumably forever.
Just my two cents.

There is a way to reclaim your things from this. You should find someone Icly and see if they know anything!

Ah...so there is. Thankfully someone helped me find the way in this regard. Thank you for responding. Trying to track people down is hard when your amulet of communication is taken from you too. Wait in the Market Square until someone wanders in heh.
Re: Minor Change
Some dungeons are dangerous, especially those with mad wizards. You should treat these areas as enter at your own risk. No one wishes the game experience to be a negative one, however please do not spoil events for others.
A goblin, a trickster, a warrior? A nameless terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. A most feared being in all the cosmos. Nothing could stop, hold, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
