I hate to say it, but after briefly showing up and checking a few characters, I realize how old some of my best are in game time and really hate not to play them much anymore after I had a PS3..that's why I haven't been around for a while..now I have a PS4, and will soon get GTA5 for it. Needless to say, I would need a VERY, VERY good reason to want to play FK again..I could be convinced, but Belose is now retired and won't be seen much at all. My other alts, on the other hand, might put in an appearance for some good RP. Except maybe Braeck..he's tired and would REALLY need a special reason to even do any RP at all..but he's not gone completely. If you want to know any of my other alts, to entice me into some RP, PM me and I'll let you know who I play so we can set up some excellent RP situations.....I mean.. it's GTA5, people..it's hard to resist.....but I know someone will want to know who I have....

In my experience you get out of the mud, what you put into the mud. Its a casual text based game, with interesting rp's and situations, areas etc. Its up to you if you want to play.

Seriously, how much can one role-play in GTA? Yesterday I played GTA, where a guy drove a helicopter into me for the fun of it. Then he spammed my inbox with links to sites that I would not mention. ...And then he tried to add me as a friend. Stuff like that doesn't happen in FK. I love it here.

I try and play other games (I've owned GTA5 since I got my PS4 in December and haven't even touched it), but rarely does it last long. I always find myself back here for the peeples and environment we play in.

If you don't find the game/environment itself interesting enough, you probably will not stay around even if other players are encouraged by you to drag you back in. Arranged roleplays are, in my opinion, not a lasting tool to keep someone playing who does not seem to even want to really play or get back into the game. As Gwain said, you either play or leave it be.

I do agree with the previous posters. However, if you are wanting to get back into the game, my best recommendation is to create a new character. Maybe something that you've never done before. That way the roleplay is fresh and new, and you can make new friends all over again. It's what I've done in the past when attempting to get back to FK again after a time away. It's wonderfully compelling that way!

(Also, please no one give Algon a helicopter. It will only end in tears. Or awesome. But probably tears.)

As everyone else said, you're only going to enjoy it if you want to. Relying on other people to make the game fun is not going to work out.

Why not take a break? There's no reason you couldn't come back to FK after a hiatus, plenty of people do and I'm one of them. Right now, you might feel tired and restless and have a lack of interest. Give it time, go play other games, go have a great life for as long as you'd like and then bring that greatness back with you if/when you feel like logging in again.

Then, yes, think about making a new character. Something fresh that will give you the opportunity to make new friends all over again here.
