I've identified various +1 and +2 full plate items, all that I have seen have 9ac value.
One of which is the brightsteel fauld +2 9ac value total
embossed girth +1 9AC value
a plate harness of polished metal +2 9ac value
I've checked scoe as well on various items and there is no difference between +1 and +2 as far all full plate goes on score sheet.
I wear the brightsteel one because it was a special reward, but it is heavier and protects the same as a +1 enchanted
Just wondering if this can be changed so items can have over a 9ac value
Other itesm with have a greater then +1 enchant are still correct. AC value seems capped right now at 9sc now matter the enchant
+1 and +2 full plate items have same AC
+1 and +2 full plate items have same AC

Re: +1 and +2 full plate items have same AC
I can confirm that this is a problem with full plate, field plate, and splint mail, but not with heavy chain. So it is not a hard cap on AC bonus; perhaps something in the heavy mail subroutine.
Full testing results:
AC bonus is correct (2) for armour types
0 (none)
2 (brigandine)
3 (heavy mail)
6 (hide)
7 (leather)
8 (padded)
10 (ring mail)
11 (scale mail)
13 (studded leather)
14 (cloth)
AC bonus is incorrect (1) for armour types
1 (banded mail)
4 (half plate)
5 (full plate)
9 (half plate)
12 (splint mail)
My guess at this point is that the problem lies with heavy armour specialization or something else specific to heavy armour. No more time this morning, though!
Testing note to self:
oset fauld value3 n\wear fauld\ostat fauld
where n is armour type is an easy way to test (using fauld o114542)

Re: +1 and +2 full plate items have same AC
Update: The issue is quality. To have an AC bonus of more than +1, the quality must be at least high. These are average or less, so only get +1 out of the deal. Not a bug, it was designed to be such.
Re: +1 and +2 full plate items have same AC
This seems off, though, since for an item to be enchanted at all it's supposed to be of "masterwork" quality. That sort of implies a quality beyond high.
Jamais arriere.
Re: +1 and +2 full plate items have same AC
I would like to see those items upgraded in their quality, for that exact reason. Just a thought
