Mielikkian Faith Gathering
Mielikkian Faith Gathering
Message scatters throughout the wylds across the lands and to the ears of those Faithful to Our Lady
of the Forest, Mielikki.
Among leaves of orange and red, we will gather within the Copse of Autumn in the High Forest. In the company of our brothers and sisters; we will share in feast, company and may discuss an array of topics, some including: The current state of the Balance, population of Rangers, Church hierarchy and future lessons and trainings to be had.

OOC: I have the entire Sunday free, so the time can be altered if more are able to make it earlier,
or later. Just let me know and I'll see about changing it up. =)

Re: Mielikkian Faith Gathering
Are rangers outside the faith welcome to attend? I won't be upset if the answer is "no"... just figured I'd ask and see what's what.
Re: Mielikkian Faith Gathering
This one is Mielikkian faith intended only, however we do have a ranger event in mind, stirring up in the near future!

Re: Mielikkian Faith Gathering
I could come for maybe a little bit at that time, possibly up to an hour. Earlier would be easier, but I can make an appearance!

Re: Mielikkian Faith Gathering
This is good for me! I can do earlier too if that works better for people.
Re: Mielikkian Faith Gathering
I'm not sure if I will be able to make this. Will have to check on the schedule for the day.

Re: Mielikkian Faith Gathering
A goodbye, and farewell to a character that will be sorely missed!
Telnier looks to Nearraba and nods his head 'It is a never ending cycle. And one that we must help continue'.
Nearraba finds a softened smile in turn to Baelis as their gaze catch, though as it further turns her features resume their neutrality. She keeps silent for a moment before eventually saying further, 'Our flock... no.. Only the flock remaining to this earth is with loss. At the Lady's side, it swells surely, joyously.' She pauses, 'We of this realm, are absent of Shadowier. Aldren Fellmane, Master Ranger of Mielikki, Mantle of Autumn... has taken final breath.'.
The sky is getting cloudy.
Baelis gasps faintly.
Renduil frowns softly at Nearraba's words, his head bowing a little.
Florilene tugs on her hair and ducks her head to hide her face.
Nearraba smiles softly to Baelis, 'You spent not much time among him, though I know you would have given much adoration as I.' Her gaze saunters, resting a moment to Florilene with some worry reflective over her features and she nods gently then, in way of you.
Baelis exclaims 'It's always a sad loss when such a faithful servant is lost, but I'm sure he went to the Forest Queen's warm embrace. Surely!'
Florilene lifts her head to look at Baelis through her hair and gives a faint smile and a firm nod, 'Most certainly.'.
Telnier bows his head low 'Aldren was a good man, and an even better friend. His service to our Lady was long, and full. His memory will live on many years from now. For all I know he taught me' Telnier pauses, and fights back a choke.
Renduil nods softly in agreement.
Telnier takes a breath and resumes 'For all I know, he taught me. Which means everyone I teach, is a reflection of him. Many of us here have been deeply impacted by Aldren. In turn, that which we pass on will always have a bit of Aldren reflected in it..'.
Telnier falters and shakes his head before lifting it again, tears glistening on his cheeks 'Our friend has been laid to rest, but his memory never will be laid to rest.'.
Telnier dips his head and steps back in silence.
Nearraba's lips curve a softened smile, though she allows no water to part from her eyes, her chin bends down upon the last words of you.
It starts to rain.
Renduil speaks up after a moment 'I only had the chance to know him briefly, but he was a wonderful learder and person. He will sorely be missed.'.
Nearraba straightens back in her place, as she nods with Renduil, 'He will, in many accounts.' Her arm extending and palm skyward as if to allow the light rain drops to bounce against it, 'Nature shares our mourn...' Her fingers curl in to her palm, glancing to Florilene and you, with soft smile, kept, '...but we should celebrate Aldren's return to the Goddess..' She pauses, 'And spread word to the others so they may find their own peace.'.
Renduil nods his head in agreement.
The waxing moon sets.
Florilene tugs on her hair and nods in silently in agreement before taking a short breath and breathing out slowly.
Baelis says 'We'll all have to do our best to work extra hard to make up for his absence, in any case.'
Telnier takes a breath and composes himself, then looks at Baelis with a smile 'Nothing can truly make up for his absence. But you are correct, and as your mother stated earlier. There will always be another to take the place of one when they fall. It is the way of the wylds.

Sister, Brother, Elder & Child,

covered by moss and hosts of life that prospers in

Come and gather. Renew weary spirit and give rest
to mind in the company of your faith at the Arbor in
the Highforest. See our numbers swell as we join as one

I'm a raptor, doin' what I can, gonna eat everything till he appearance of man. Yo yo see me, I'm living below the soil. I'll be back, but I'm comin' as oil.
Re: Mielikkian Faith Gathering
Faithful stewards of the wilds;
I send call to gather you, all.
Come together to embrace the old
and welcome the new amongst the
Lady's flock. In nature's bosom
of the High Forest, we will mass
fire-side in the Ranger's Camp.
---------------------------------------
This is aimed for a casual faith meet-n-greet. If there's enough interest and time, we might
also be able to tackle some pending quests, together.
As usual, please shoot me a PM if another time would work better. =)
