Mobs that ask questions

Post by Siveal » Thu Aug 06, 2015 5:44 pm

Greetings all ,

I Will make this post short and too the point . I would find it very useful that any mob that gives you a test or quizzes, You may ask them to repeat the question that you are currently working on. Or have the question listed under the qlog .

THANKS,

Siveal ,the beaten ,drowned, Ranger

Most of them give you some sort of hint in either the qlog or perhaps when you walk back into the room with them. There are not too many that just leave you hanging. It would be a pretty big undertaking to go back to any mob that asks a question and fix this.

But, it gives the builders something to think about when writing quests from now on at least. :)

Could we possibly turn this thread into something similar to the mega thread for typoes and have said mobs reported as their found?

Just wondering which part is the big undertaking the finding of said NPCs or the effort it takes to make one NPC repeat itself?
I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!

Both finding and applying that code to every one of those NPC would be a great deal of work. Builders could keep this request in mind for the future at their own discretion, but it should be remembered as well that some of house quests are intentionally difficult because the goal is for the player to really pay attention and learn.
If a bug or glitch caused you to miss the question somehow you could always put an application in making your case to the staff to see if they might reset your Qbit and let you try again.
