Sing me a dirge

Music hath been a force for good an ill in many a place but here let thine place pen to parchment for the cause of peace in the world.

Yee bards of young and old, I, Mersgrave the marverllous do seek a dirge written. One that doth exemplify death as a new beginning. That doth raise one's heart to the peace and rest offered in it. One that doth show the beauty in the proper order of things. One that doth show that tis naught to fear and tis not a random thing.

I seek this dirge, a short piece of no less than 3 verses and no more than 6 to have sung at kelemvorite gathrings and funerals across faerun so be putting some elbow grease into it aye?
Sadly for us normal folk, I seek the works of only certified bards from the various colleges abouts the realms. So fancy yourself with the gusto? Send me this dirge in a letter

The winner gains at least 100 platinum and a mystery prize from my not so secret stash of magical goods. I say at least as depending on just how good yee are and my mood it will probably be more.
Everyone who submits an entry gains 25 platinum. This entry money is in addition to the first place winnings.

This means that sadly, only the first 10 entrants will be accepted so get writing.

OOC: Don't mean to discriminate, but I hope to encourage even more bards to spend some time online. This will be the first in a long line of class specific competitions if this one turns out well.

I should add, that the end date for this will be Oct 14th. You can't rush art afterall.
