My suggestion for this is to either add-on to the Fighter class and Dual Wield skill by opening unarmed (no cestus) dual wielding after they hit a certain point of Brawling mastery (adept?) and have both trained the Dual Wield skill at least a little and the Improved Brawling feat, or, alternatively, a new feat that opens up 'Dual Wield' unarmed attacks and requires amateur in the Dual Wield skill and adds +2 chance to hit with unarmed attacks in general (so it's worth having it over a cestus pair if you want to hit often).
I'd really like to play an effective unarmored, unarmed brawler on my alternate character, but the lack of unarmed feats makes it kind of hard. I do realize that I can get someone to forge or make a pair of cestuses (one for each hand), but it kind of defeats the purpose if they're gauntlets or claw-like knuckles (but if they can be leather handwraps or something similar, that'd be cool).

I've got a pair of those in game on my main alt.Aesnir wrote:(but if they can be leather handwraps or something similar, that'd be cool).

You got a good point about the lack of brawling feats. I was gonna make a monk character but decided against it. The hard code just doesn't support it enough.

I think it would be neat to see some support for makeshift monkish fighters.

Noble intention. Slow action. Swift justice. Swallowed pride. These are the traits of a plucky hero.
