Mystra's Magical Auction -> Midnight Masquerade

The Chuch of Mystra will be hosting a service, auctioning random magical items that do no good for the owner.

Here's how it works.

Beginning today (1/21/16) go through your stash. Do you have an item that you know is magical but cannot use?

Via the Magical Post mail said item to Elaena and BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME.

From there, the item will be identified and a list will be created. In five days time(1/26/16) a list will be posted with all of the items and
what they offer the wearer.

Once the list is posted there will be a ten day period where buyers may place bids.(Ending 2/5/16)

To send a bid write a LETTER with the following layout:

Item ID:
Bid:

If you do not provide these three things the bid will be null.


As each bid comes in, the list will be updated with the highest bid on the item currently. Here is an example:

(For the sake of simplicity I will use OOC terms for enchantments. Note, THIS posting will have the bids added but the IC posting will not, instead the IC post will be color coded to show what the items look like. So here, you find bids on items, IC noteboards you find the look.)


In fees: The Church of Mystra will take one of the for every ten of largest multiple coin bid on the item.
Examples:
a bid of 4 gold 1 silver is 1 gold to the Church
a bid of 50 plat 5 gold 3 silver is 5 platinum to the Church


What will the Church do with coins earned? In approx 2 weeks time from when the bidding ends, after all the items and coin have been distributed, we will hold another Midnight Masquerade using the coin to provide food, drinks and unique garb offered before entry. (Saturday, February 13 - time TBD).

Would you be able to specify the AC enchants? +Natural, +deflection, +shield and the standard +ac. Wasn't sure on a few things. Sorry to be a pain in the ass! This is such a great way to do an auction though, thank you.



EDIT----Ops I noticed how the deflection is listed. Was wondering about the amulets

Deflect is deflect and AC is nat.

Can we elaborate a bit more to be perfectly clear, annotating deflection, natural, or normal AC? Because I doubt every item you have listed as +whatever AC is a + to natural AC .

Sorry to be a pain, and for most items its not necessary, but for items like bracers it is.

it probably means general ac as in what is referred to in character as mage armor. If you notice the bracers they say +2 deflection.

I don't generally look at the desc I focus on 1 or 2 or +1 or +2 then judge the attributes. Anything with a 2 or higher rating is great.

Eight are bracers and amulets.

Two are robes.



So yes. They -are- NATURAL AC as comes with RMI bracers and amulets most common of all AC.

Forgive this last minute stipulation, I had thought it was an obvious thing.


These items will be returned to their owners at the end, thus should be bid on if you want/need them rationally.


I will not accept bids for outrageous numbers of items to add to another persons stock, the items will be returned to their original owners' stock.
