I propose that the following rothe mob be made able to cock their tails and poop like those on the surface. It is unfair that UD players need to get to the wilderness for poop!
The mobs in question are:
-the rothe on Rothe Island in the Moss Beds
-the rothe in the fungal farm in the svirfneblin tutorial
-the hairy rothe ox sold by pet shops in both Menzo and Blingdenstone

Re: Of manure and drow (and svirfneblin)
Poop in the Underdark would be very nice to have! Waterdeep has a nice source of it, but that's pretty much impossible for drow to get to.
Helm keep thee.
Re: Of manure and drow (and svirfneblin)
Hmmm....The Rothe in the Underdark itself do....at least I am fairly sure they do??
Re: Of manure and drow (and svirfneblin)
Poop is available in the UD, and not in small amounts
Weit in der Champagne im Mittsommergrün,
dort, wo zwischen Grabkreuzen Mohnblumen blühn,
da flüstern die Gräser und wiegen sich leicht
im Wind, der sanft über das Gräberfeld streicht.

Re: Of manure and drow (and svirfneblin)
It's not that it's not found, but it would make sense for it to have greater availability.
These are not level 45 characters requesting easier access to poop. Even then, walking into the UD tunnels with a non priest level 45 PC takes around 5 minutes per 3 rooms (average 3 rooms per 100% mv, approximately 5 minutes to regen to 100% mv).
I do not think that this is an unreasonable suggestion even though there are existing (albeit very difficult to access) alternatives.

Yes, it is. But I still don't see the point why it should be so difficult for low level drow and svirfneblin to get it by themselves. Sure, asking to others is always an option and I am an advocate of it, but there is a limit to everything. The difference in ease of access to this component in the Underdark, in comparison to the surface, is in my humble opnion frankly too big.Larethiel wrote:Poop is available in the UD, and not in small amounts
On top of that it is inconsistent that the rothe mentioned above seem not able to produce manure, unlike other (wild) rothes.
I believe it can be a small modification that would make the life at low levels for some UD characters slightly easier.
Re: Of manure and drow (and svirfneblin)
I will add a small % of rothe dropping manure on the Isle. Do not shy away from asking senior drow or using the message pillar however. The Underdark is not fair, and should not have access to everything, in fact should have very little without some effort. Though in this case manure makes sense.
A goblin, a trickster, a warrior? A nameless terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. A most feared being in all the cosmos. Nothing could stop, hold, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
