The simple version of the question I'm asking tonight is...
When crafting something (a weapon, a piece of armor, etc) does it have to be the CHARACTER who is doing the craft that is logged out, or does the entire ACCOUNT have to be offline?
The more complex reasoning:
I started a project on my only crafting toon. I logged out of her in the same room where the project was being assembled. Then I went and played an alt for what I thought was one in-game day (per the craft status it should have taken less time than that) but when I switched back over to the crafter, she hadn't finished the project.
Just looking for some clarification.
Crafting question
Re: Crafting question
It's my understanding that it's the character that is doing the crafting that has to be logged out. I think one reason why the project might not have completed is due to failed checks or something of the sort. Give it some more time and it should complete.
Re: Crafting question
It is just the character. Make sure you quit in the correct forge that you started the project in, make sure you are holding a hammer, and make sure you have some extra coin in your inventory in case it wants more costs. I usually start a project when i am about to quit and let it work overnight.
