When Selune begins to cry and the moon runs red with blood, the day of the Beastlord has come.
Under the glow of the blood moon, Huntmaster Wyrmwood invites all denizens of Faerun and beyond to join the faithful of Malar in a grand hunt and feast to honor the Beastlord and the savage creatures of the wilds.
Three events will take place in that time:
The High Hunt will call one denizen of the realms to test their valor against willing participants in a non lethal hunt, to show their skill at arms and might lest the hunters win the day. Be prepared to offer an ear if the quarry loses, though you can seek its regrowth later on. Unlike a normal, lethal, High Hunt this is offering a chance for the hunted to still join the celebration.
The Feast of the Blood moon, where all attending should offer some form of sustenance from their kills in a hunters style pot luck, those who can not father meat for themselves may purchase it, but all hunters attending are expected to bring their own unless they are too young to do so. Alcohol, grand tales of the hunt, and general drunken revelry are encouraged.
Last is the Tribute Hunt, where all who wish will compete with eachother to hunt down one creature as declared by the Huntmaster. No magic, no help, the hunters must rely upon their own instincts and skills rather than decrying and teleporting about.
The faithful of the Beastlord offer the Peace of the Table during this event, that all may attend be they friend or foe without fear of harm coming to them. Any who break the peace will be either maimed and ejected from the feast or slain outright upon an altar to the Beastlord.
