What areas would you like to see?
What areas would you like to see?
Just a general query to the player base at large, what are the top five cities/towns/dungeons/zones you'd like to see in game?
A goblin, a trickster, a warrior? A nameless terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. A most feared being in all the cosmos. Nothing could stop, hold, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.

Re: What areas would you like to see?
1. Selgaunt or another Sembian port like Saerloon
2. Destroyed Mythdrannor so we can experience that as well as restored Mythdrannor hopefully in the future.
3. Minith Keep. the current Cormanthor drow just aren't numerous feeling enough to what I've read about house Jhaelor
4. Witch King's castle / tower in Vasa
5. Warlock's crypt, because Feebov isn't the baddest lich in the land. Larloc is.

I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!
Re: What areas would you like to see?
Surface:
- Baldur's Gate
- Neverwinter
- Myth Drannor
- Calimport

Additional mentions:
- Some big city in Cormyr, like Arabel, Suzail, Marsember, etc.
- Some site in Mulhorand, with Egyptian theme
- Yathchol, Oryndoll, Ch'Chitl, Reeshov, etc. and other UD npc races settlements

Re: What areas would you like to see?
I would like to see Myth Drannor as a dungeon/adventure type area and Calimport as a new large city hub for the south.
I would also be willing and able to help with room descriptions and layouts if anyone is taking on the large task of creating these areas.

Re: What areas would you like to see?
In no particular order... because I love them all:
Hlondeth. City ruled by craven Sseth-worshiping serpent people?
...Yes please.
Ironfang Keep. If you dare.
The Doomvault of Theymount. UM on coke.
A fourth vote for Calimport!
And Dragonspear Castle. Even the introduction of this one into the game could be immensely fun (e.g., see its second rise of devils in the mid 1360s which could easily be adapted to our timeline).

Re: What areas would you like to see?
Well, these are not in any particular order myself, just items listed as I can think of them.
Chult - Adding to the map larger areas to the south of Calimshan, as well as a large area of jungle with all the dangers and treasures that come with it, new goods to buy and sell. Though it would be a much bigger task then just a single city or dungeon.
Myth Drannor - I would very much enjoy this as a dungeon, perhaps split into multiple areas. And as with Yemin, perhaps a future reclamation of it, or parts of it even, to use as a new city/settlement area.
Athkatla - Having the Cowled wizards and their disdain for uncontrolled and unauthorized magic could make for some new quests and the like. As well as it being a huge trading hub with Waukeen's Promanade.
Ten Towns - Actually adding settlements to Icewind Dale, perhaps even making the area larger to accommodate. Perhaps not all, but at least Bryn Shandor and maybe another one or two. Shops to buy scrimshaw works, quests perhaps to collect such for unique non-magical works. You could even add in the Dwarven mines of Kelvan's Cairn.
Calimport - Having this city set up and even made into a starting city for genasi and those from the area would be a good addition, since there are a good number of characters already made from the city. Shops included to provide plenty of desert-wear and equipment,

Re: What areas would you like to see?
I would like to see more additions related to the ruins of the Nar. Or related to the people that took over those ruins.
Dun-Tharos
Yeshelmaar (Where the elves fled after Dun-Tharos was taken over)
Val Murthag
Shaundaular
Fortress of the Half-Demon

Re: What areas would you like to see?
1) Calimport , as others have mentioned as a starting city option. Think the far south needs a little love, and being such a cool and unique city I think this would be a great priority to get put in.
2) Ten Towns, could be rather simple but would add some nice flair to the north. There arnt really a lot of frontier/nature type settlements that arnt focused on elves.
3) citadel felbarr/citadel of many-arrows - would be quite fitting, as well as go along with a lot of the in game stuff in recent past. Provide some good adventuring/plot lines, and Also be another spot for orcs and other evils to an extent
4) Myth Drannor- for reasons as already mentioned
5) Chult- I think a jungle area would be cool and also help give some love to the south, and also provide more of those wild type places that arnt strongly focused on elves.
I think there are already tons of purely adventuring type places around, and they are always nice to see added for something new to do. But, I think breathing a little more detailed life into parts of the worth should take priority. I think Calimport would bring the most to the game in one shot overall.

Re: What areas would you like to see?
Myth Drannor - personally I'm okay with skipping the dungeon and going straight to settlement, so we finally have an actually Elven starting home for moon/sun elves.
Chars: Aryvael et all.
Re: What areas would you like to see?
I specify that I listed Myth Drannor up above uniquely as an adventure area. Sort of the Old School of Wonder but for seriously tough people.
Another area I now recall, that I really felt missing in game, is Evereska.

Is Candlekeep in game?
Oh, and as most seem to be in consensus of: Calimport

We could assemble a crowd sourcing of descriptions for Calimport, this would allow the various incomplete attempts of the past to get closer to completion.

Re: What areas would you like to see?
Baldur's Gate with a robust adventurer's guild and a few quest areas attached. Definitely interested in the lair of a nearby lich.
Myth Drannor is another favorite.
Calimport, I feel, has a lot of outsourced mobs selling the items you'd find there--but the Aladdin-esque street adventures could be really, really cool. I love all of the relatively recent additions of street culture in various cities, and Calimport seems to be the best place for that. Really adds a living element to things. Oh yeah, litter it with genasi.
For my 4th and 5th votes, and since I'm playing a rogue lately, I'm gonna cheese and say revisit old areas and add appropriate traps and pickable locks.

Jamais arriere.
Re: What areas would you like to see?
I'll throw in my vote for Calimport as well.
Other than that, personally I'd like to see Bloodstone Village, Alaghon, Immilmar, and Cimbar.

Re: What areas would you like to see?
I'd love to see the area of Rashemen fleshed out, in general! The culture there is incredibly deep, beyond vodka memes. Immilmar, Mulsantir, although the real heart of Rashemen culture is in the small hamlets and towns, which are also much easier(I think?) to build!
What are you talking about? What, that guy?
That was like that when I got here.
