Griffoneer platform in Waterdeep

Post by Grenwyn » Sun Oct 08, 2017 7:17 pm

Unsure if this applies to other platforms as well; this is the only one I have tried.

I purchased a credit from the guard by handing him 5 platinum. I arrived at 9PM (game time), to be sure I'd have plenty of time to board. When 10PM rolled around, nothing happened. There was no sign of a chariot; no other exits from the room as with caravans.

I tried asking the guard about the chariot using several keywords, to no avail. I tried using directional commands towards exits that did not exist, also to no avail.

Finally 11pm hit (which is when the griffons are supposed to take off). I tried one last time and picked a different directional keyword, which triggered a response:

Code: Select all

A Griffoneer guard says to you 'Alright, aboard you go.'
A Griffoneer guard says 'If you leave you invalidate your credit.'
Alas, you cannot go that way.
I was still unable to leave the room, of course. And when I tried again:

Code: Select all

A Griffoneer guard says 'You have no guild credits for a flight.'
So a couple issues:
  • The chariots are not arriving/leaving from Waterdeep properly.
  • You can lose your guild credits without actually boarding a chariot.
Thanks,

Should be fixed, let us know if it persists.
A goblin, a trickster, a warrior? A nameless terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. A most feared being in all the cosmos. Nothing could stop, hold, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
