OOC Paladin Forum to be held in game

Post by Harroghty » Tue Oct 17, 2017 3:17 am

I would like to meet in-game with current paladin and squire players to level-set OOC, and discuss some things about the guild.

I would love to do it this coming weekend (21-22 October). I also want to get everyone there. If you have a paladin or a squire then please attend. (I don't want to shut out prospects in this case, but I want to focus on the core group for this meeting and so I apologize for doing so.)

Can we get the whole gang together this weekend?
Agenda:
  • Background on Paladin Process
  • Admin Vision for Paladin Guild
  • Discussion on Squires and Squire Process
  • Open Forum for Issues

As it stands right now, I'm available pretty much any time this weekend. I'm looking forward to being able to discuss things. :)

I should be able to do later evenings on these days, I'll be at work so my attendance will be a bit distracted and dependent on whether there is stuff that's come up through work, as well as my station at (patrol or office). GMT 2100-2300 works best saturday, GMT 1900-2100 works best sunday.

I have a party I'm attending the evening of the 21st and possibly something the morning of the 22nd. Evening the 22nd I should be free for sure.

Saturday looks best here.
Weit in der Champagne im Mittsommergrün,
dort, wo zwischen Grabkreuzen Mohnblumen blühn,
da flüstern die Gräser und wiegen sich leicht
im Wind, der sanft über das Gräberfeld streicht.

I'm leaning towards Saturday based upon this feedback and my own schedule. If I did Saturday afternoon (GMT -5, EST) it looks like I would have... Aislynn, Alinor, Aramil, and a distracted Skylar? Losing Meerlinda and Katheryn.

I don't want to keep Aramil up all night, or make it too late. What's a middle ground for timing on Saturday? (And sorry Katheryn!)

I can do anything after 5 PM EST on Saturday. That is really the best I can do due to work.

I leave for Nashville at 6:50pm CST... and land around 8:40pm CST on Saturday. So I'm unavailable from 4:00pm CST to about 9:30pm CST on Saturday. I can do anything before 3pm on Saturday.

Sunday, it'll be so hit and miss... I'll be in Nashville, y'all...

So if someone wants to take notes for me, that's fine.

Just want to be sure I got this. You're focusing mostly on current active squires/pallies but prospective squires are welcome? Or are you not wanting those folks to attend?

Either is totally fine, just genuinely not sure which you were going for. I'm starting up a PC who'll be joining the squires, so even if I probably don't have the experience to add much to the discussion, I'd be glad to come to listen, long as it's welcome, to see what's being planned for the guild I'll be heading into very shortly.

Thanks in advance for clarification, Harroghty! :)

This is for paladins and squires only.

Okay. So let's go with 2100 GMT on Saturday 21 October.

That means we should be good for just about everyone except Katheryn. Please kindly post here if you think you cannot make this time (and what adjustment would help).

I can make this time with 2 hours to spare, my event isn't until 7pm PST and the link says it'll be at 4pm PST.

I'll be present providing the time remains the same.

A miscalculation caused me to mix up the 2100/1900 hour thing. I'm available 1900-2100hrs saturday, 2100-2300hrs sunday. My apologies, a scheduling shift and a new staffer that I completely overlooked. Would 1900hrs saturday be any better for other folks than 2100hrs?

I may be able to be there for the beginning... either that, or I need to get to the airport way early, and then connect on the airport's wifi... hmm.. either way, I'll try to be there. If I'm not, though, don't wait for me.
