Find a cool empty room in game, or a point of interest from FR lore, and submit a new/custom object for it!


Do you have a spot in the realms you love, but is meager of things and description?

Fret not! This is your opportunity to change that!

Welcome to the Decorate your World competition, in which the winner wins a super secret, but super fabulous prize.

Here's what to do:

Send your post via APPLICATIONS, titled Account: YOURNAME - Decorate your World entry.

Copy and paste the room/s you have in mind, include what area the room is in! (If you're the member of a council able to provide a vnum, please feel free!)

For the entry, optionally include the following:

ONE item per room you choose. You may enter up to five rooms, with one item per room as a maximum. Your items may include programs with logical item functions.

An edited room description if it pertains to your addition - if it's not necessary, there is no need to edit the room description.

Please ensure multiple room applications are laid out neatly to properly pair room to item.

That's it!

From there, entries will be taken and implemented at the leisure of our favorite builder admin, Talos. All entries have the reserved right to fine tweaks and edits to ensure they function, belong where they are, and make sense aesthetically.

Bonus points for supplement/novel diving and sourcing interesting features from those.


Your entries MAY NOT be personal content. This means they may not 'belong' to your character, or have any specific affiliation with you character. Your character may frequent and enjoy the spot, but has no ownership of it or the items provided!

We will keep this event running for a handful of months, so get out and explore! Find a sparse place or five and add some life!

The ultimate winner may receive an abode for one of their characters or an additional room for an existing abode.

Examples of a submitted object might be:

• A giant dwarven warrior carved into a cliff face
  The Doors of Iron which lock away the World-Eater in Chult
  The Rashemi Elder Tree
  A glade with a pool of frost linked to the Unseelie
  A pillar of salt in the middle of a famer's field
  A standing mirror that reflects an image of your death
  A sundial oriented to the moon
  The old pilings from a forgotten city's dock
  A Druid's stone circle
  An elven forest totem
  A very comfortable chair or hearth at your favorite inn
  A gnome-forged pump that produces ale
  A tattered war-banner on an ancient battlefield
  A shipwreck buried in the sea
  A sounding horn on a mountain summit
  And/or whatever other feature you can make interesting (fantastical is not always better)
