A Top-Secret Mission...

Looking to head a run of this event in coming weeks for the sake of those who haven't been able to take part in past maybe due to Rl availability, PC level, etc. Some notes for this particular proposed run...

• Any alignments and faiths will be welcome, the only caveat being that it would not much make sense for a Bane-lover to do this.
• Six PCs required, at minimum one fighter, one cleric, one wizard, preferably two of each. Raelikh is a fighter, so we have one tank thus far.
• In general, slots will be given first-come, first-served, albeit preference will be given to those who have not yet run the mission. This does not mean that I won't ask you to come along if you've already done it, but given a choice between one who has and one who hasn't, the latter will be chosen so that as many people as possible can see this amazing area.
• Please read the info given in the link above. Understand that this is a very dangerous event, also that it is SUPER SECRET IC.
• As also noted in the above thread, this will take at least several hours if not a full day or more of play time, so consider this well when applying for the group. There are checkpoints throughout where we can stop even for a night if needed, but just remember that the group will be depending on you to be able to meet back up with us at the time we all decide to join up again.

I think that's about it! If you want to join in, send me a PM (please PM so this thread doesn't get spammy for other people) with your PCs name, class/role (healer, tank, etc.), whether any of your alts has done this before (please be honest for the sake of your fellow gamers), and available days/times. Remember that even if you have done it there is still chance I would take you, depending on the others.

Run times will be considered on the order of weeks, not days, to give everyone even more chance to prepare and plan ahead their RL schedules, so like early-mid May probably. Hope to see you there!

Still very much looking for party members!

Haven't been able to run this before and have a high-level PC who doesn't want to see the Black Tear explode Faerun? Send me his/her name.

Done it before? Maybe didn't get to see how it ends? Throw in your name also and have a second chance at saving the world maybe.

Worried you might take up someone else's chance to run it if you volunteer? Don't--if I get enough interest for multiple runs, I'll gladly organize multiple runs. Or at least I'll get people connected so they can get together and run it themselves.

This is seriously an amazing quest, part of the RP of Bane's return, and (as much as it crushes me to think of it) it'll most likely not be a permanent fixture to the game, so partake while you can!

Any alignment, any faith, any class, race, sex, favorite food--Raelikh doesn't care. The only requirements for you are a capable, high level PC and your time. Given the length of this mission, we could likely (and have done) even find times to accomodate our European friends' joining in with American players. So don't be shy.

Many thanks to you few who answered, but I haven't gotten nearly enough interest to attempt this. Might be I'll give it another shot when the MUD gets active again.
