While polymorphed into ape form and buffed as I was then, I have 28 AC, which really shouldn't be something bandits can reliably hit, yet I get hit every single time. I don't think this is intentional, feel free to nudge me if you want a clarification

Anyone else seen this while in ape form?

I will test on here in a moment if you like. I have not experienced it that I have noticed, but perhaps I just didn't notice.

Update:

This only seems to apply when polymorphed and wearing clothes. Ape form is useful because it saves on stripping down, but an ape not wearing anything avoids blows like normal, somehow.

I noticed that the ape is large-sized and, more importantly, like a few other forms the ape keeps the worn clothes on after the transformation.

Apparently if you wear clothes that are undersized you get hit almost always, no matter your AC. I discovered it a few years ago when I used to polymorph into a medium shape on my deep gnome wizard, and I could not understand why my stone skin burned away at such a crazy speed. It turned out that removing my tight clothes fixed it.

It would be interesting to see if that behaviour remains if you guys remove your clothes and equipment after polymorphing.
