ADVENTURE CHALLENGE
It's time to team up! Pick an adventuring partner and get out into the world. The church of Tymora challenges the adventuring community to get out there, adventure, and earn unique rewards!
How the challenge will work:
Pick a partner to adventure with. For every adventure you wish to count for this challenge, both parties must be present. Teams should consist of two individuals, and no one can be a part of more than one team.
For adventures with more risk involved, your team may invite others to join. You may also count adventures where your team helped another group with one of their tasks. Adventures may only count toward this challenge if both team members participate.
For each adventure completed, you must present some sort of token from the adventure to the Luckbringer. This can be some of the loot acquired, or something else to prove that you did what you say. We invite you to turn these in as adventures are completed and tell us about your adventures as you complete them and not wait until the end of the contest. Items turned in will not be returned. If you turn in loot-type items, these will be put into a pot for contestants to choose from at the end of the contest. So if you get something you cannot use during one of your adventures, perhaps someone else will put in an item that you can use.
Adventuring spirit will be judged primarily by the number of adventures completed. If teams are close in the number of adventures other factors will be taken into consideration. These include: Risk level of your completed adventures and the story of your adventure.
At the end of the event, duo that has shown the most adventuring spirit, as judged by the Luckbringer will be handsomely rewarded. Tymoran weapon and armoursmiths will be hard at work designing something special to suit our challenge winners.
The challenge begins the moment this notice is posted, and the ending date will be announced at a later time. The challenge is open to anyone who is not an enemy of the Tymoran church.
(OOC: I'm thinking we'll let this last a couple of weeks, but depending on my schedule and the level of interest, we could shorten or extend it. I'll post an end date here after things get going)

If you are wishing to participate, but are having trouble finding a partner, please contact Niccele for assistance! I'll be keeping a list of people who are interested and will do my best to help get people paired up! I'll try to pair people of similar levels, and attempt to not put opposing viewpoints together! Bring your characters out to meet people!

A few questions answered:
You do not have to report after each adventure. Just please don't wait until the last day. We want to try to keep everyone in the loop of where they are compared to the competition. I will post here once we have more pairs participating. Report in as often as you can get into contact with Niccele.
Each adventure will be worth up to 100 points. 50 points will be given just for going on the adventure. Up to 30 points can be earned for your story-telling of the adventure. A detailed and enthusiastic retelling of the adventure will be worth more points than 'we went, we fought, we won, and we came back'. Up to 20 points can be earned depending on the level of risk for the adventure. *10 additional points per team member can be earned if you are visiting somewhere you have never been* (So really, each adventure could be worth up to 120 points!) So as you can see, people doing more adventures will have an easier time winning. But good story telling, and riskier adventurers can make up the difference if they do not get out quite as much as others.

We now have four teams and have had our first adventure turned in! It is not to late to grab a partner at get adventuring! Once we've had a couple more adventures turned in, I will post the progress for everyone to see where they stand.

Alright, so we've had a few stories turned in. Here are the current standings:
Velgar and Rannas 192 points
Amethyst and Jessesmine 0 points
Kalahani and Whysteria 0 points
Summer and Daerin 105 points
I know the other two teams have been out on adventures. So just as soon as they get a chance to meet up with me, these standings might change drastically! It is still not too late if you are not already participating to get a partner and start adventuring.

I cannot access the clock website right now, but the deadline for getting all of your adventures in will be the 15th of July around midnight, in whatever timezone I am in here in Washington state. I lose track. I'll post a link for it later, but wanted to give you guys a heads up on how much longer you have.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated. This was really a lot of fun. We had over twenty stories of adventure. There were dire platypus... giant multi-headed centipedes, hoards of undead, goblins, and orcs, loot, and glory!
In the end, the top pair came out to be Rannas and Velgar. Congratulations! The Tymoran craftsmen in Silverymoon are working diligently on your reward.
To everyone else that participated, your prizes should be arriving in the mail soon. Please find Niccele to choose an item from the box of tokens that were turned in.
