The Darrowmar Thieves Guilds are trying to recruit bards instead of rogues or other thieves.

A few orcs (such as Yogg in Orkskreem) and in various orc encampments (like the Yogg teleports you to) mostly speak common (though understand orcish.) Sometimes you have to repeat what you say for them to understand you. Once for them to ask "Do you understand what I'm saying?" then twice for them to list or train.

Orkskreem is lacking spell components at two vendors as well.

* Nerjhuul and Noxtalthos are missing spell components/items. Both have out of stock items when a purchase attempt is made.

Thanks!

Not sure if this is an oversight, but in Orkskreen the vendor that sells fullplate pieces does not sell anything for the legs. There is every piece of the set but the leg slot.

Furthermore, the shoulder plate pieces seem to be of better craft than the rest of the pieces. (Didn't test the breastplate.) The arm slot gives 1 more AC than the rest, though is more expensive. Perhaps making them all of the same (possibly higher) quality?

Thanks.

A few low-level quests could use some minor adjustments to make them more sensible and easy to follow.
You give an Express Deliveries contract token to Geoffrey.
Geoffrey checks the code on the token and looks in his registery.
Geoffrey hums a song to himself for a short while.
Geoffrey says to you 'Music. The priest of Oghma here in Waterdeep is organizing'
Geoffrey says to you 'a concert, but he needs new strings for the violins. For'
Geoffrey says to you 'this mission, you will need to travel as far as Berdusk'
Geoffrey says to you 'and get violin strings from the bard Thunderwood there.'
Geoffrey says to you 'Once you have them, bring them to the priest of Oghma'
Geoffrey says to you 'at the Font of Knowledge.'
I would suggest this dialog and the accompanying qlog entry both be updated to name Sandrew specifically. Sandrew used to be the only priest of Ogma at the Font, but since the addition of the full temple, it's not clear, especially for a new player, to whom one is meant to bring the strings.
Also, registery is misspelled in I think all of Geoffrey's progs. It should be registry.
Sharahaster grins.
Sharahaster gives you a tiny potion bottle of flight.
Sharahaster says to you 'Here you are.'
Sharahaster says to you 'Quaffing that potion will allow you to fly'
Sharahaster says to you 'for a short time. That can get you out of'
Sharahaster says to you 'tricky situations. While you fly, ground-based'
Sharahaster says to you 'monsters will not be able to attack you either,'
Sharahaster says to you 'unless you attack them first.'
Sharahaster says to you 'Thank you. You are dismissed.'
That explanation of flight has not been true for quite a long time. I suggest it be removed so as to avoid giving new players bad ideas about flying that could get their PC killed.
Budach says to you 'The aim of this part of my lesson is for'
Budach says to you 'you to make a minor magical item - a ring'
Budach says to you 'that will slightly increase your ability'
Budach says to you 'to cast spells. In order to do this you'
Budach says to you 'need to get several items.'
Budach says to you 'A simple gold ring, to be enchanted.'
Budach says to you 'A sunstone, a moonstone, and a starstone.'
Budach says to you 'These items will make the enchantment work'
Budach says to you 'during the day, in moon-lit nights and star-lit'
Budach says to you 'nights. And finally a gem that will hold'
Budach says to you 'the enchantment to be set in the ring.'
Budach says to you 'Go now and get these items.'

questlog local
Quest Journal :
You are studying at the School of Wonder near Waterdeep.
You are studying Magic Item Creation with Budach.
Gather a simple gold ring, a sunstone, a moonstone, a starstone and a gem.
You say 'mahuram naewah maeelusm'
Budach says to you 'You do not have a gem.'
Neither the mob nor the qlog entry for this quest actually says what kind of gem to bring. It would probably be very helpful to specify a shining pink gem in both the qlog and those two bits of dialog.

Poison Resist Feat
==================
Over the years, some among your people carefully expose themselves to
poisons in controlled dosages in order to build up immunity to their
effects. A few are thereby weakened, but the strong adjust.

This feat increases your resistance to poison.

* You can only take this feat before reaching level 5.
Only dwarves are able to take this feat, as they are the only race that starts with any bonus vs poison. The helpfil very indirectly implies this, but maybe the addition of a clear note might be in order:

Code: Select all

{E0}*{70} You need to be a dwarf to take this feat.

When stunned and being dragged, you can 'see' yourself move. Updated room locations, descriptions, etc. Not sure if intended or a bug.

Reminder to use this thread and not bug reports for simple builder issues.

Bug reports are riddled with things that could take a builder two seconds to fix, making the actual code bugs covered in a pile of things.

Orkskreem's banker doesn't perform the normal exchanges of coin types like every other banker.

Sadia in Calim could use restocking for some things.

Noamuth in Menzo could use a restock.

There seems to be a shortage of oil... Anderian in Skullport, Mintassan in Westgate, the trader in Blobdlipbop are short of stock too.

None of the animals around Blingdnestone are claimable for deep shadow rangers, think all the moles, worms, everything in the maze, etc should be claimable as animal companions.

Backstab is missing from the hidden violets guild in skullport, maybe drop it on a trainer there.
