Festival of Fire and Light

Greetings, one and all! For the beautiful and festive season of Winterfest, and with the cooperation of the Assumbar family of Waterdeep, we're pleased to invite all of you fine people to the Festival of Fire and Light, held on the chill and frozen Fields of Triumph at the start of winter to celebrate the season with the metaphorical warmth of love and friendship as well as the literal warmth of flammable and explosive powders!

I, Liliwen Glesni, will be your hostess for the evening, serving a delightful assortment of treats and snacks that have been lovingly put together for the festival. Behind the scenes the wonderful Marina Assumbar will be working on the project as well, helping to actually bake the aforementioned treats and sort out the legalities so that we aren't carted off mid-supper for holding a festival without the proper permits. Provided cooperation by the Guild of Fighters we'll be using the Fields of Triumph for this, since the wide open space allows for excellent viewing of the night sky, and that will become quite important when we're firing up numerous packets of differently coloured powders to illuminate the sky with enough colours that the old Grandfather of Winterfest will have no trouble at all finding us.

Everyone's welcome, except for those who are expressly enemies of the temple of Gond or the Assumbar family.

PS: It is the Fields so we won't try to stop anyone from having a spar if they want to, but it's a festival as well, so armour is prohibited, therefore, all fights should be without armour.
