This is rather specific, but this would be a great site for anyone wishing to RP a more farm-oriented Chauntean(IE ME! ) It is not D&D related, but it is said that Chauntea's dogma is a collection of agricultural sayings and whatnaught. It is rather extensive and long, as well.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and go well with ketchup.

As you may already know, Deities can take on pretty much any form they wish. But what form does each deity take most often? What's their favorites? Here's a site with pictures of the Deities as well as their symbols: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ag/20020628b
Remember, they may not always take these forms, but it does paint a good picture of them.

Here is another one, this one is a list with some of the more prominent gods linked to more detailed pages.

Glim asks Gwain 'Can I be on the watch?!?'
Gwain raises an eyebrow.
Gwain seems to display a look of complete horror for a second...

Pictures of priests/priestesses of all of the coded deities can be found here, as well as a lot of uncoded deities. It's not in English, but the names remain mostly the same.

Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

So.. I was googling today and stumbled onto a site with extensive extensive information on the church of Ilmater. Has information on the numerous sects of the faith as well as a list of saints and.. yeah, lots of stuff. Thought I should share the wealth. =)

I have (almost) all of the books myself and have done this in the past for several people, but I'll make the offer open to everyone. If you want some information on a particular deity or their church, I am always willing to help out and scan a few pages of a particular book, though I will say Velius' link two posts above is an excellent one that contains a ton of great information, it's all straight from the Faiths and Avatars book, which is in my opinion the best of the deity-related books, the most detailed and the most interesting.
Odd that none of the elemental lords, like Istishia, are listed under gensai faiths. One would think they would be popular among those with ties to those planes.Mele wrote:http://www.seankreynolds.com/rpgfiles/w ... ities.html

Very cool searchable database of all the various festivals and holy days!
