Planetouched Pics

Incase some people are confused as to what genasi and tieflings look like, here are some pics. Now, these arent what they ALL look like, as like humans, they are all different, some could be alot more subtle, some might not be, but maybe these can give you the general theme.

In my experience, I have only played/seen Tieflings without wings. But just like an Aasimar's traits depend on their ancestors, so too do a Tiefling's. So, while it's possible a Tiefling can have wings, I would say a very large majority would not. Same goes for Aasimars. One of an Aasimar's racial feats is actually "Outsider wings" according to Races of Faerun. But for the sake of FK I would imagine having wings would be a special RP.(IE they would allow you to fly, and restrict armour, ect.)

But correct me if I'm wrong. :D

I think the winged creature COULD be a fey'ri, a cross between a demon and an elf, but I think the point that Glim was making remains true. The fact is, these are mystical looking creatures, lots of 'em. :D

I just read Races of Faerun, and yes, tieflings and aasimar can BOTH have wings. Aasimar have birdlike wings and tieflings have batlike wings. Its a feat both of them can take.

Edit: Sorry Argentia, didnt read your post, but anyways, it just reinforces the fact.

In the first picture set the tall one is a elf/demon fey'ir (sp) and the short one is an orc/demon ankkorka (or something). They don't have any FR specific pictures of tieflings, but those are both exampels of FR specific tieflings creatured during Hellgategate (as it was know at the time)

I couldn't help but notice....the alternate pictures of genasi have no wings...but I have read others do...which are we to play? Also...on a completely side note...where did you get those pictures of the genasi IN FRENCH? That is so cool!

As far as I have ever read about genasi (Races of Destiny, Races of Faerun, Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, and Players Guide to Faerun) I dont beleive genasi can have wings.

Oh, yea, Tieflings and Aasimar can have wings.

I never connect tiefling and aasimar with genasi, whenever someone says that I always think of the elemental ones.

I'm surprised no one's posted this one: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/MM35_ ... _PG209.jpg
This is my favorite pic of an Aasimar and a Tiefling. I love it. ^_^
In the other games I've played, Tieflings and Aasimars could have wings, but they all look different. After all, it really depends what demon or celestial was involved, right? Some Tieflings have horns, some have tails, some have white skin, some have wings. Aasimars can have golden or silver hair, as well as eyes. They get wings sometimes, too. :)

That is actually a Tiefling Monk, And Most Tieflings do not have wings, I haven't read many FR books that have flying Tieflings, though if you know of one, I would like to read it

You mean Annah, the "daughter" of Pharod? Pale skin, red hair, and a pointed tail? Yep, she's a tiefling alright. That's the first one I had ever seen (or even heard of), but certainly not the last.

Edit: Picture of Annah: Annah
Also, here's two more tiefling pictures from Planescape- Torment...
