(rogues) when you play dead during a fight, and get lucky, the fight will be interrupted, and you have a chance to escape.
You can only do this once in a fight. If you fail, you lose your attacks for a turn and receive an attack of opportunity.
e.g.
A town guard's slash annihilates an assassin!
An assassin is dead!
An assassin stands up.
An assassin disappears in the shadows.
A Paladin's slash annihilates an assassin!
An assassin is dead!
A Paladin sees through the trick! He strikes at an assassin!
A Paladin's slash mutilates an assassin.
An assassin curses and swears
Play Dead
An interesting idea, I believe it has merit. My only question is, how would you deal with the inevitable event in which a rogue attempts to play dead in a PvP situation. I expect there will be some who simply assume it is a trick and strike anyway, ruining the disguise whether they were fooled or not.

A big of lag against the target if the rogue succeeds would solve that...
Furthermore, the lag can prevent auto-hostile mobs from immediately attacking the rogue again (though I understand most of these auto-attack only upon entrance anyways)
Also, if fighting multiple enemies at once difficulty of success should increase

This idea had the same name.. though it doesn't have too much to do with what is being proposed here. Thought I might as well put it up here anyways.
